Angelina Jolie stepped out in another effortlessly stylish look yesterday.
The actress and humanitarian was photographed while shopping for plants with her 14-year-old son, Knox Jolie-Pitt in Los Angeles yesterday. She was seen smiling as she carried a small plant and a statue, before she and her son left the nursery.
For the casual day out, the star wore a white sundress with a flowy, calf-length skirt and a torso and large straps made of scrunched elastic fabric. She accessorized the piece with a pair of ivory woven sandals by Valentino, a dainty pendant necklace, and a pair of oversized, black aviator sunglasses. She also wore her hair straight and carried a brown leather shoulder bag.
The Eternals actor has been spotted several times this month, in some great end-of-summer looks. Last Wednesday, she donned a sleek all-black ensemble for a solo office visit in Beverly Hills, comprised if a cropped tank which exposed her belly button, pleated wide-leg trousers, chunky platform sandals, and the celeb-favorite Yves Saint Laurent's quilted lambskin shopping bag.
She also wore a similar all-white look on a separate day out with Knox, a sophisticated-yet-casual wrap sundress paired with the same Valentino sandals and a slouchy oatmeal-colored cardigan. Her accessories included a mini box shoulder bag from Dior, a pair of black-framed oversized glasses, and classic gold hoop earrings.
The actor and filmmaker has recently been working on her latest directorial project, a film adaptation of Alessandro Baricco's novel Without Blood starring her Eternals co-star Salma Hayek. She told Variety that she read the novel in 2016 and wrote a script soon after.
"I didn’t understand that when I first read it," she said of the book's theme, which shows the complexity of the human condition. "I just knew the book had a profound effect on me. I think it’s one of those pieces of art, of somebody’s intuition and mind, that puts something forward that has so much truth in it about who we are as people."
